"Indiana Impressions: The Art of T.C. Steele"

The Indiana Historical Society will be showcasing art from legendary Hoosier impressionist artist, T.C. Steele at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.  They will be honoring Steele by exhibiting 43 paintings of his work from private collectors.  The showcase will run April 21 through July 9, 2016. image_large"On Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m., enjoy a Storytelling Arts and IHS presentation of a commissioned piece about Steele’s life by Lou Ann Homan at the Frank and Katrina Basile Theater at the History Center. Hear about the life and loves of this extraordinary man who chose to live by his mantra, “Every morning I take off my hat to the beauty of the world.” Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. IHS members may pay the advance price at the door."
